Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

The Government has asked all Local Authorities in the UK to publish, in one place, information about the services and provision they expect to be available in their area for children and young people from 0 to 25 who have Special Educational Needs and/or a Disability (SEND).

This is known as the Local Offer, scroll down and click the blue icon, ‘Education & Schools’. Further information about the Northumberland Local Offer can be found on the Northumberland Family Services directory, which is available here. If after looking at these sites you would like any information about the provision Northumberland Council has to offer please contact them direct via telephone, 01670 623563.

If you have any queries or would like to discuss any SEND matters further, please contact Mr Gray, SEND coordinator, details of which can be found here. If you would like a paper copy of any of our policies, please contact the school office.

The documents below are meant to give a general outline of our cover and provision of SEN to our current and future children, but we also understand that every child is unique and as such will have unique needs, we will work with parents to ensure that the needs of their child are met at our school. Children we identify as requiring additional needs are allocated an individual plan which can cover the educational, behaviour or health issues.
