Admissions and Prospectus

Process

The local authority (LA) in charge of our Admissions procedure is currently Northumberland County Council who will send out application details and packs to parents in the year prior to joining our school. These should be completed as soon as possible and returned to the LA. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the LA Admissions team on 0345 600 6400 or contact our school office for further help and guidance.

Our school operates an appropriate admission policy which was decided upon with collaboration between our school, our MAT and the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. We hold a ‘New Starters Evening’ in the summer term, to answer any questions, worries or queries you may have for joining our school. Most of the time our new Reception class have already become well acquainted with our school as they have attended our same site Nursery. As one school, our early years unit works closely with our Nursery to ensure the ease in transition for our new starters.

We will ensure all children joining us, whether from our Nursery or other providers have a simple and smooth transition into our school. We offer taster days, visits and more, simply inquire and we can help you further.
